Set out from Bullsbrook at 10:30pm stopped in a roadside park and camped only an hour later.
October 3rd, Day two: Made it to Geraldton and had lunch at McDonalds, Ben had very high tempreture gave him panadol and he settled down. Continued onto Gregory and arrived about 3:00pm
October 4th, Day three: Woke to a windy day temp about 21, not really beach weather, but we braved the beach for the kids and I managed to get badly sunburnt. That evening I went down to the beach and took some photos, some not too bad..
October 5th, Day four: Slighlty warmer, but way too windy for boating or beach. We ganged together with Col and Rich and had a lunch at Horrocks. That evening we recieved word that Dad had passed away. None of us had much enthusiam but we all made the effort to fish the jetty that night, and I did in fact catch a few bream, and one that was size which was eaten.
October 6th, Day five: The trip back. Woke to find that Col had left at midnight the previous night. Very miserable return home. Not a great holiday, Dad was a great man and will be really missed. Very sad end but we did manage to have some fun. Will have to try and not let the passing of my father sour the Port Gregory location too much for me. Having said that, I have no intention of returning any time soon...
