Another thought for teachers of evolution

Words Jesus spoke that we should take notice of...

Matthew 18:6

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Reasons to doubt evolution Part 1

First of all you should know that I am a Christian, that means that I live under the new testament of Jesus Christ and I believe the Bible cover to cover word for word.
I believe that it is the written Word of GOD. I believe that GOD created the universe, the Earth and all that is contained within them in a literal six days as recorded in Genesis 1:1. I do not subscribe to the theory of evolution, and in fact I believe that it is a major tool of Satan and is responsible for extinguishing the faith's of millions of people.

In this post and many others(hopefully), I will try to get across just one small point at a time that will help to show that many of the assumptions that evolutionary teaching will have you believe, have in some cases been scientifically proven false.

The first point I would like to make is that evolution has a history of frauds and fakes, and many such frauds are still taught to children today as scientific fact.

Here is one such fraud still in some school textbooks today.

1. The Biogenitic Law - Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel 1834 — 1919

Haeckel proposed that the embryonal development of an individual organism followed the same path as the evolutionary history of its species.

To my limited understanding this basically means for example, he proposed that humans evolved from the oceans beginning as fish. So the embryos of humans would go through a fish like stage of devolpment displaying gill like slits, before attaining a more human like state.

To support his view he produced drawings of human embryos in parallel to dog embryos. The drawings he made of the human embryos were heavily doctored to try to support his theory. This was proved a fake in 1874, thats one hundred and thirty four years ago, and is still used today to support evolutionary teachings. That is a disgrace in my opinion and underlines the desperation of the believers of evolution who try and remove GOD from our lives.

There have been numerous other examples of monumental frauds and fakes in the context of evolution. Piltdown man, Java man, Lucy, to name just a few. I will continue to post my thoughts on reasons to doubt evolution....

New GeeXboX

Just finished building my new HTPC. Is just a very simple one running GeeXBoX..
The last one was a pentium 900 mhz squeezed into an old amp case that I found on the side of the road (curbside collections rock!!!) and that lasted over four years without any problems beside slight overheating in very hot weather. Decided to build a new one only for athestic reasons (Nao said the old one was very ugly and had to go!).
I used an old IBM desktop case, and cut it up and welded(yes with my mig!!) together with different bits from other cases to fit a full size mainboard that I had sitting around. It is now a Pentium 4, 2.66mhz with 1GB of ram, Geeforce 4800Ti, 3com ethernet card and netgear wireless card, 500gb IDE and DVD reader. I bought a few bits and peices from pccasegear online (power switch etc) and I think the result is pretty neat...

Anyways BFN

The World Below

From time to time I begin a story, it usually dosent get far but some are of interest to me..

The World Below

By Slippery Jim © 2008

Chapter One

Jane looked out to the grey world, through the window streaked with rain. Far below, thousands of umbrella's marked the morning passage of the city's people. She liked it this way. Dark and gloomy. It seemed to suit her mood. She dressed slowly by the window watching the rain run on it's surface, her favorite overcoat and scarf going over a plain dark dress. The same dress she always wore to work. A piece of toast in mouth and a juice in her hand, Jane headed for the elevator. Stopping at a news stand Jane bought the paper, and a pie for her boss Richard. Making her way through the crowded streets, Jane walked to the sixth street stop and caught the 855 for Newcastle street and Richard's private lab. Jane gave a bleak smile to the doorman as she swiped in. Pushing through the office door Jane dropped the paper and the pie on Richards messy desk and went in search of him in the lab. Jane found the lab in a state of disarray. The chalk board full curious writing and chalk dust covered the floor. But of Richard there was no sign. Jane waited for an hour and called Richard's home, but there was no answer. Jane called the company, and they told her to go home, and that they would call when they found Richard. Returning home a little wet from the incessant rain Jane found a letter from Richard in her mailbox. She opened without thinking and read aloud to herself.

Richard Thagden

6th April

Dear Jane,

I am writing to you because it is the only way I can communicate to you what I have discovered about this universe. I am very close to a working understanding of it's mechanics and I know that the moment I do truly understand, I will cease to be. As soon as I know, I will be gone. You see, in this universe you are the only real thing. It is possible that yours is the only existence, but I would like to believe that there are others too. I am not sure if this is the way it has always been or if something that I have done in my experiments has made a difference. However from now on you can, if you believe, change everything. I am sorry I cannot be there to help you understand but I am no longer part of your universe, don't bother looking for me I cannot be found.

P.S If you receive this letter and I am not missing, please don't tell everyone that I am mad.

P.S If you receive this letter and I am missing, expect another.

Fond Regards Richard

It was not signed. Jane sighed, this may not be “normal” behavior for Richard, but she had learned to expect the unexpected when dealing with Richard. It never once entered her head that he may be right, confused or socially challenged for sure but this was simply crazy. Jane stayed in her apartment for the next few days sure that Richard was playing some weired joke on her that only he would understand and would call sooner or later. Jane watched the world go by beneath her window.

End of Post for now.. :)

First Visit to Dad's Grave Site

I visited Dad's grave for the first time since the funeral today. It was not the experience that I expected. I thought to be upset and pretty sad, but insted I was overwhelmed with the knowledge that Dad was'nt there, and a sense of peace. I guess no-one really understands the grief and feelings of personal loss without firsthand experience. I have a new found respect for the grieving process and those people that work in the industry and a real sadness for those without the hope and assurance of eternal life through Christ. You hear often that someone needed or recieved closure when losing a loved one, this now really means somthing to me. Rest in peace Dad.

Port Gregory Trip Oct 2008

October 2nd, Day one:
Set out from Bullsbrook at 10:30pm stopped in a roadside park and camped only an hour later.

October 3rd, Day two: Made it to Geraldton and had lunch at McDonalds, Ben had very high tempreture gave him panadol and he settled down. Continued onto Gregory and arrived about 3:00pm

October 4th, Day three: Woke to a windy day temp about 21, not really beach weather, but we braved the beach for the kids and I managed to get badly sunburnt. That evening I went down to the beach and took some photos, some not too bad..

October 5th, Day four: Slighlty warmer, but way too windy for boating or beach. We ganged together with Col and Rich and had a lunch at Horrocks. That evening we recieved word that Dad had passed away. None of us had much enthusiam but we all made the effort to fish the jetty that night, and I did in fact catch a few bream, and one that was size which was eaten.

October 6th, Day five: The trip back. Woke to find that Col had left at midnight the previous night. Very miserable return home. Not a great holiday, Dad was a great man and will be really missed. Very sad end but we did manage to have some fun. Will have to try and not let the passing of my father sour the Port Gregory location too much for me. Having said that, I have no intention of returning any time soon...
